Operation
The MP5 MLI operates using a roller-delayed blowback mechanism that fires 9×19 mm cartridges from a closed bolt in both semi-automatic and fully automatic modes
Chassis
The MP5 MLI’s chassis is based on the classic MP5 family design but updated with modern accessory interface rails that support modular attachments while retaining the durable receiver and ergonomics of the underlying platform.
Slide
In the MP5 MLI, the bolt assembly functions similarly to a slide in other firearm types, moving rearward to extract and eject spent cases and then forward to chamber fresh rounds during firing.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance of the MP5 MLI involves safely clearing the weapon, disassembling key components such as the bolt and barrel, and cleaning and lightly lubricating to ensure service life.
